Dear all members and colleagues of the AOCC,
This is Prof. Dr. Zhanju Liu, working as the Director of the Department of Gastroenterology, Shanghai Tenth People’s Hospital of Tongji University, and Director of Center for IBD Research of Tongji University School of Medicine (Shanghai, China).
I feel so honored and have been nominated as the President of the AOCC 2023. At this moment, I thank a lot all members of the AOCC for giving me this opportunity to serve for all members from the Asian areas and all colleagues from the rest of world.
In the past years, AOCC has done great work to guide us in the diagnosis and management of IBD. AOCC has launched several committees and organized several conferences and academic seminars to improve our scientific and clinical skills in IBD, such as health education, early diagnosis, pathogenesis study, multi-center clinical trials, and new technical utilization. Moreover, AOCC has started further collaboration with other regional and international organizations such as ECCO and CCFA to improve our academic communications with the Western countries.
Welcome you to join the AOCC, and I am very happy to work hard with my colleagues and try our best to serve for you.
